The Community Education Awards are an annual celebration and recognition of schools’ efforts to help children and young people become responsible community members.
Affiliated to The Police Community Clubs of Great Britain, the Awards reward school projects and teachers who help improve the lives of pupils and their local communities.
This year’s awards attracted over 7,500 entrants, quadruple the number of nominations from the inaugural year in 2011.
Five wide-ranging categories and 19 awards ensure there is an award for the most deserving children, teachers and projects.
The categories are: Environment, Finance Enterprise and Employment, Health Safety and Lifestyle, Technology and Outstanding Individuals.
